How CuePaid keeps your account and your clients' details safe, in plain facts.

Where your data lives

Your data is hosted in the European Union, in Frankfurt, Germany. Everything travelling between your phone and CuePaid is encrypted.

Every account is walled off

One CuePaid account can never read or change another account's clients, quotes, invoices or payments. The wall is in the database itself, not only in the app, so it holds even if someone talks to the database directly.

Your banking details

The banking details on your invoices are locked behind your password. With two-step login switched on, changing them also needs a code from your authenticator app. Every change is recorded in your security log and emailed to you at once, so a change you did not make never goes unnoticed. If two-step login is switched off or moved to another phone, you are emailed, and banking details stay locked for 24 hours.

Money and messages stay with you

CuePaid never holds payment keys or client money. Your clients pay you directly by EFT. CuePaid never messages your clients: quotes, invoices and reminders go out from your own WhatsApp or email, and nothing is shared until you tap.

Two-step login

Available on every account, under Settings, Security. Signing in then asks for your password and a 6-digit code from an authenticator app on your phone. A stolen password alone opens nothing, and cannot delete the account.

Screenshots

A screenshot you ask CuePaid to read is deleted after reading: when you save or leave the form, and in any case within 24 hours. A price never comes from the screenshot reader, only from your own saved items.

Backups and watching

The database is backed up every day. CuePaid is watched from the outside around the clock, and a fault inside the app raises an alert without storing names, numbers or amounts.

If a device is lost

Open Settings, Security, and tap Sign out of all devices. Then change your password.

Report a security problem

Found a weakness, or something that looks wrong? Tell us here. A person reads every report. Please do not test against other people's accounts or data.
