What CuePaid does
CuePaid runs the admin around every booking, from the first WhatsApp enquiry to the final payment. Developed in South Africa for the way local gigs actually run: enquiries on WhatsApp, payment by EFT, and corporate accounts departments that need a proper invoice. Built on more than twenty years of corporate events experience, for DJs, singers, musicians and bands.
One screenshot, from quote to invoice
A client sends the details on WhatsApp or email. Screenshot the chat and CuePaid fills in the client, date, times and venue, then drafts the quote from your own line items and prices. Once the booking's confirmed, the invoice is built from the same details, with no retyping. You check everything before it goes anywhere.
Your client accepts with one link
No app or login needed. They accept, or decline and say why, and the booking updates itself.
See who still owes you
Log deposits and balances as they land. The money screen shows who's outstanding and for how long, VAT is worked out if you're registered, and every invoice carries what a corporate accounts department needs to pay.
Every gig in your diary
Connect once and each gig shows in your phone's calendar with its status: pencilled, quoted, confirmed, invoiced, paid.
Works as an app on your phone
CuePaid installs straight from cuepaid.com onto iPhone and Android. No app store visit, and it updates itself. Switch on notifications and you get a ping the moment a client accepts a quote.
Brief the rest of the line-up
Send a sax player or second DJ the gig day brief with times, venue and dress code. Your client's contact details and your fee stay out of it.
Your clients only hear from you
Quotes, invoices and reminders go out from your own WhatsApp or email. CuePaid never messages your clients or touches their money. They pay you directly by EFT.
What it costs
Free for 30 days, then R199 a month, or R1 990 for a year (two months free). No commission on your bookings and no fee per invoice.
No card needed to start.
Less than R7 a day. One gig won because your quote went out first covers months.

If you stop, your account goes read-only and you can still view and download everything. An account that never subscribes is deleted 90 days after the trial ends, with a warning email 30 days before.

Privacy and support
Your clients, quotes and figures are yours. Every account is walled off, so no other CuePaid user can see them. Changing the banking details on your invoices needs your password, and every change is recorded. You can add a second lock with two-step login.
